The White Horse circa 1905

The White Horse

The White Horse is a 17th century or earlier grade II listed inn with later alterations and additions. It is timber-framed and rough rendered with plain tiled roofs. It has two bars and a restaurant area.

This former village coaching inn has lost little of its classic look over time and retains much of its original character.

Inside, wooden beams, brick features, a log-burning stove and a bench seat set in an inglenook and a large open fire paint a delightfully traditional picture and create a warm, relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy good food, a drink or sit back and unwind.

We are extremely dog friendly and muddy boots friendly. We have Wi Fi, a childrens play area, a beer garden and camp site facilities too.
