The White Horse is a 17th Century Grade II listed inn set in the picturesque village of Tattingstone near Ipswich, Suffolk.

This former village coaching inn has lost none of its classic look over time and indeed still retains much of its original character.

Inside, black beams, brick features, a log-burning stove and a bench seat set in an inglenook paint a delightfully traditional picture and create a warm, relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy good food, a drink or sit back and unwind.

The carved white horse which stands atop a tall pole outside the inn was rescued from a hotel in Ipswich.

Another interesting external feature is the old hand pump which stands in front of the inn. For many years it supplied the inn with water from a well.

Monday to Thursday   12-3pm, 6-11pm
Friday and Saturday   12-11pm
Sunday   12-10.30pm

Food is served in the bar, restaurant and garden:
Monday to Saturday   12-2.30pm, 7-9pm
Sunday 12-2.30pm

Sunday nights, prearranged parties only.

All areas are non-smoking.

Throughout the year, the White Horse plays host to a number of events including Classic Car Rallys.
